SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. - A transsexual porn starlet named Jennifer who reportedly spent some of her off hours working as an escort, has tested HIV-positive. She and has worked with condoms for the most part, though she's also worked for Anabolic in some non-condom scenes
Her case appears unrelated to Darren James and is considered contained by the AIM Healthcare Foundation.
According to Sharon Mitchell, AIM Healthcare Foundation's executive director, a scene that Jennifer shot on Feb. 27 was cause for concern, but both men who worked with Jennifer on that date have had already had negative PCR-DNA tests, and one of them has two negative tests on file since that scene.
"This is pretty much an open and shut case. I've called both male performers in for another test, but both of them have previously cleared with PCR-DNA tests, so we think its contained," Mitchell said.
Jennifer's last negative HIV test was on Feb. 24, 2004. She had been in New York for a few months, and was seeking to return to work in the adult industry when she tested positive.
The two adult performers with pending HIV test results are still pending.
