CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Reports of a Chasey Lain overdose and even her death during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo this past week were rampant on several internet sites, including AVN.com. Further investigation revealed that our sources, who had informed us that the person in question who had overdosed and was taken out of the Venetian Hotel with no identification was indeed Chasey Lain, were mistaken.
On Thursday Lain stopped by the AVN offices to tell her side of the story. This is what she had to say:
"There are no details, because nothing happened, period. I didn't overdose. Nevada is a no tolerance state, number one, so even if I had taken too much, there's no way I could have been released. It's legally not possible.
"There was no overdose, there was no incident, there was nothing until somebody plucked this out of thin air. I was perfectly fine, and I was with people 24/7, and there was no overdose, there was no nothing, there was no incident. My attorney's already having papers drawn up as we speak against the people who fabricated this story, because it's obviously slander," Lain said.
"I was there doing a promo for the band [Digital Underground] while I was there, so there's no way I could have been OD'ing. [AVN.com has confirmed with two sources that she was in fact with two people up until the time that she allegedly overdosed.] I have my badge and it says 'Pleasure Productions' and it says 'Chasey Lain.' I read the other Website, we went online last night, I wanna find every one of these people and find out why.
"Who hates me enough to make up this shit? Obviously they're trying to cover up someone who's making up a lie to hurt me."
Lain went on to say, "I didn't go to any hospital. Can they produce some hospital papers for me please? I'd like to see the record of the police report, the hospital report, can they fabricate that and produce it? Let me see it. I've already started tracking them all down.

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - AVN Hall-of-Famer Chasey Lain has made her triumphant return to adult film after a three-year absence. Copies of her new film, Pleasure Productions' Chasey's Back, were reported to be shipping Sept. 30 at a rapid rate.

"Distributors usually take 10 to 15 pieces of a title. For this, they're really stepping it up, taking anywhere from 50 to 100," said Pleasure Productions sales manager Dan Motola. "We have such a good response on it right now."
In Chasey's Back, Lain performs two scenes, a boy/girl with Randy Spears and an all-girl threesome. Cash Markman directs the film.
"She looks beautiful in it," Motola said. "She's got a really hot hardcore boy/girl scene and a really hot hardcore three-way girl scene. It's phenomenal."
So phenomenal in fact, that the film may turn into one of the year's best sellers. Motola has received calls from nearly 100 private consumers asking when the film would be available, he said.
"Besides the Paris [Hilton] tape, I can definitely say this is the hottest title of the year," he said.
In addition to shipping Sept. 30, which means it should be in video stores no later than Oct. 4, the film is also available right now in streaming pay-per-view at www.aebn.com.
"We have a great relationship with Pleasure, so when they have a hot title coming out they make sure we get it right away and we put it up as soon as possible," said Michael Gregg, AEBN publicist. "And obviously I think there's a lot of interest in this film."
Gregg said that streaming rental and download versions of the film will be available on AEBN next week.
Pleasure Productions has also completed two additional titles with Lain.

The cancellation was made at the last minute. Still, Chasey was supposed to have started dancing yesterday (Friday) at a 2PM matinee. If she did not show up, then the Spearmint Rhino Club should had said so on its web site, which currently at 11:15 PST is still touting Chasey's appearances.
This action on the part of the Club is morally dubious at best. The inimitable (but old and flabby) Teri Weigel filled in for Chasey. The show was quite forgettable, and blonde Teri was obviously out of breath after only ten minutes. I did see the blonde chick Cricket(from Gangbang Audition #3) there, trying to snag lap dances.
"Stars" such as Chasey Lain and Jenna Jameson (who flaked on Spearmint Rhino a few months ago) may get a slight rush or tingle out of breaking contracts. I hear Chasey is turning tricks. A friend met her and said it is like looking at a dying person. Two industry friends saw her recently and said she will be dead within the month. She is cracked out of her mind. She was offered help but she is beyond that, she claims that she does not have a problem.
Chasey has begged certain video company owners to help her out financially. She has lost everything, her cars were even impounded. An acquaintance offered to put her into rehab and that is the last he heard from her.
Vivid is using Chasey in a new series, they filmed her about four weeks ago so they are completely aware of her problem. They need to spend the money getting her into rehab rather than giving it to her to buy more drugs. Members of the crew on her set said it was so sad watching her, that is was like fucking a dying person.

Your heart is in the right place, but this is something beyond anyone's control. On the other hand, I'm with you when it comes to providing means for someone to feed their addiction. Vivid Girls Intervene With Chasey Lain
XXX says: Vivid girls Raylene and Taylor Hayes went to Chasey Lain's house about a week ago to stage an intervention. Lain's been smoking speed than snorting heroin to come down from the speed. She has a three year old son with this guy Anthony, her boyfriend. Raylene and Taylor asked Anthony, a drug dealer, what he wanted to do about the situation. He was nonchalant. He said she was beyond help. The kid wasn't there.
Apparently, a week ago, Chasey took her kid out on the street and told him that he was worthless, that she hated him and that he was the Devil's child. And left him on the street.
And in his daycare, he was so high from the fumes of her smoking the speed that they called Child Protective Services when he started coming down from his high. A director in the adult business now looks after the boy.
The police came and arrested Chasey. She's in jail and they're trying to get her into a rehab clinic.
Chasey was so high that she was telling Taylor that she would kill her. Lain took a hammer and started beating herself with the hammer.
Chasey's been turning tricks for $100 a pop or in exchange for drugs.

I have read a lot of the things that have been said on this site about your present situation and of course, the comments made by independent parties that may know or not know you personally. I have no way of telling what is fact or fiction so I stay objective.
I haven't seen too many people actually offer to help you and provide emotional support for you in a time you might need it most. While I've never had a drug or alcohol issue, I certainly know first hand what it feels like to have a boulder infront of you, no way around it and praying daily for some angel to be dropped from the heavens so that everything might be resolved. Usually, we have to resolve our own problems and then we see the "angel" and it all makes perfect sense; we can look back with an understanding of what we were supposed to learn in everything we went through.
Today, I was driving past a landscaping shop; there was a big lettered sign outside that read "Adversity introduces us our true selves."
If you'd like to go for lunch, coffee or just talk some time, please feel free to call me. As a mutual mother, I'd be happy to lend a shoulder or perhaps give you some direction in a step by step way to heal what really aches. Addictions are rarely merely physical.
The general opinion in LA is that you cannot help a drug addict until they want to help themselves. I do agree with this but I think your situation is pretty simple. You have a son. I'm sure you want the best for him. Put yourself second and him first. Bite the bullet and grab someone's hand. Reach out to me or anyone who is on the anti-drug side. Walk away from anything and everyone that is part of that scene and you will find yourself much better off a year from now.
There are a lot of people out there that do care.

Chasey Lain Says She's Not Addicted To Drugs

Vivid Girls Intervene With Chasey Lain

Chasey's been turning tricks for $100 a pop or in exchange for drugs.

While I've never had a drug or alcohol issue, I certainly know first hand what it feels like to have a boulder infront of you, no way around it and praying daily for some angel to be dropped from the heavens so that everything might be resolved. Usually, we have to resolve our own problems and then we see the "angel" and it all makes perfect sense; we can look back with an understanding of what we were supposed to learn in everything we went through.
Today, I was driving past a landscaping shop; there was a big lettered sign outside that read "Adversity introduces us our true selves."
If you'd like to go for lunch, coffee or just talk some time, please feel free to call me. As a mutual mother, I'd be happy to lend a shoulder or perhaps give you some direction in a step by step way to heal what really aches. Addictions are rarely merely physical.
The general opinion in LA is that you cannot help a drug addict until they want to help themselves. I do agree with this but I think your situation is pretty simple. You have a son. I'm sure you want the best for him. Put yourself second and him first. Bite the bullet and grab someone's hand. Reach out to me or anyone who is on the anti-drug side. Walk away from anything and everyone that is part of that scene and you will find yourself much better off a year from now.
There are a lot of people out there that do care.
