Troyer ha querelato TMZ e altri per US$20,000,000. Veneredi il 28 giugno 2008 la Corte Federale di Los Angeles accordo' un ingiunzione vietando la distribuzione del sex tape.

Restraining order forces TMZ to pull online clip

LOS ANGELES - Actor Verne Troyer prevailed in court Friday as a federal judge granted his request for a temporary restraining order to halt the release of a sex tape featuring the "Austin Powers" star and his former live-in girlfriend, Ranae Shrider.

U.S. District Judge Philip Gutierrez ruled that Troyer "will suffer irreparable harm to his reputation" if the video is released. Best known for his role as Mini-Me opposite Mike Myers in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" and its sequel "Goldmember," Troyer is currently featured in Myers' new comedy "The Love Guru."

Celebrity gossip site TMZ exposed the so-called "Mini-Me Sex Tape" on Wednesday, posting a 25-second clip from the video that showed the couple kissing. Adult video-on-demand provider SugarDVD quickly jumped on the bandwagon, publicizing a $100,000 offer for the full 50-minute video. The mini-media circus continued as celebrity sex-tape broker Kevin Blatt went public with graphic descriptions of the video's content.

Troyer immediately filed suit against TMZ, SugarDVD and Blatt, claiming the video was stolen from his home and seeking $20 million in damages. The judge's order prevents any adult video distributor from taking orders for the video and blocks TMZ from posting any further excerpts from the tape.

TMZ pulled down the original clip Friday evening, and SugarDVD has removed all mention of the offer for the video from its Web site. Judge Gutierrez may issue a more binding preliminary injunction in the case unless TMZ and other parties can show a valid reason for releasing the footage. The temporary order expires July 7.

While Blatt admitted shopping the tape to porn industry buyers after he viewed it several weeks ago, he maintains that he never actually possessed a copy. Blatt insists he backed away from brokering the video when he learned that the actor had not consented to its release.

La modella in questione ha 22 anni e e' alta 5'9" mentre Troyer e' alto 32" (meno di 3 piedi). La loro "love story" duro' circa 6 mesi.
Il filmato dura circa 50 minuti, c'e sesso orale e non so cos'altro. Ma da quello che si vede, Troyer mette paura....Che shifo

Venerdi, Ranae e' stata intervistata da una stazione radio in Tampa, Florida, in cui parla come si sono incontrati e la loro rottura dopo il premiere dell'ultimo film di Troyer THE LOVE GURU.

Ieri, il primo lugio 2008, la modella Ranae Shrider ha affermato e a depositato documenti in corte in cui afferma che la cinepresa che e' stata usata per filmare la scena era la sua e che ha dato il consenso a TMZ.com per pubblicare il filmato di 25 secondi in questo sito.
TMZ indica che Ranae sta cercando di vendere il filmato e che chiede almeno $25,000.

Ranae Shrider -- the co-star of the only good movie Verne Troyer has done this year -- the woman who now says she authorized TMZ to run portions of the sex tape -- is now actively shopping it around town. That's what sources tell us.

We're told she's asking for a minimum $25,000. And here's the deal....a deal may have already been struck and the flick could go wide as early as next week. We're predicting a bigger B.O. than "Love Guru."

LOS ANGELES - A Los Angeles judge has allowed celebrity-news website TMZ to repost a 25-second clip from a sex video featuring actor Verne "Mini-Me" Troyer and former girlfriend Ranae Shrider.

Shrider, a 22-year-old aspiring actress, signed documents Tuesday in federal court stating the tape was created with her video camera, not Troyer's, and that she gave TMZ permission to air the clip. The judge then reversed an earlier order that forced TMZ to remove any portion of the tape from its website in response to a $20 million lawsuit Troyer filed against TMZ.

In addition to reposting the clip, TMZ published a report stating Shrider is actively shopping the tape, asking for a minimum of $25,000.

The clip, which shows Shrider and Troyer passionately kissing, was broadcast last week and accompanied news reports that celebrity-sex-tape broker Kevin Blatt was shopping the video and that adult video rental company SugarDVD had offered $100,000 for the tape, provided that Shrider and Troyer agreed.

SugarDVD is still barred from taking orders or distributing the tape.

Troyer filed the lawsuit last week, claiming the tape was stolen from the apartment he and Shrider share.
