= Odio Zucchero e non ho nessuna intenzione di vederlo o ascoltarlo.
= Ricordo quando la canzone A WHITER SHADE OF PALE di Procol Harum usci nel 1967, io non ci ho capito proprio nulla, nonostante che non si capivano tante parole, e che non facevano tanto senso. Ma la canzone era bellissima, la voce dei cantanti, la musica - tutto bello. LA continuo ad ascoltare anche oggi e mi da brividi.

queste parole le sentivo, ma quale era il significato? Cosa volevano dire? Poca importanza, il brano era ballabile, la musica deliziosa.

Tu cosa ci hai capito? Io proprio nulla, stessa cosa con la persona che ho convinto/forzato ad ascoltarla

Puo darsi l'idea del testo (lyrics) sara stata ideata originalmente in italiano (in cui si voleva dire/intendere) altre cose, ma il testo in inglese no fa senso (parlo di logica e non di grammatica). Certe volte tradurre oppure tradurre letteralmente
da una lingua ad un altra se non sei tanto esperto non ci riesci tanto bene. Dico questo perche' prima di tutto non mi dici come il testo (lyrics) e' stato creato/tradotto. In secondo, da tempo mi dedico ad esaminare e modificare per il mio hobby personale, sottotitoli di vari film (francese, inglese, italiano). Ti posso dire che spesso da quello che si sente nell'audio del film, e quello che viene "tradotto" per sottotitoli nelle 3 lingue che conosco, in nessun caso i sottotili rappresentato nemmeno il 80% di quello che il testo originalle (audio) e' stato detto.
Dunque, per ritornare alla canzone in questione, io non sono un esperto musicale, dunque NON posso dare un opinione o critica per la commerciabilita' potenziale della canzone.
Personalmente io e l'altra persona (una ragazza piu' giovane di me e che e' piu "in tune" con cose/musica moderne) non abbiamo trovato il brano "piacente", e nemmeno "ballabile".
E se uno ci ci mette a capire il testo (lyrics) rimane anche piu' sconcertato e deluso.
Sorry, per essere stato molto diretto e sincero. Ma il brano non e' piacevole, e ho voluto farlo ascoltare da qualcuno altro per vedere se ero solo io o no a pensarla cosi.

Il "heavy metal/rock" non mi e' mai piaciuto.
Sono cresciuto con il classico rock 'n roll e rhythm & blues (Otis Redding, James Brown, Sam & Dave, Joe Tex, Wilson Pickett, James Carr, Percy Sledge, Garnet Mimms, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Solomon Burke. Tina Turner, etc).
Odio il jazz e country & western. Faccio delle eccezioni come Jimi Hendrix per ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER (che potrei ascoltare 100 volte di fila senza mai stufarmi), oppure LAYLA di Derek and the Dominos (non sapeno nemmeno chi era Clapton). Avevo comprato il 45 RPM di questa canzone che durava circa 3 minuti, ed e' quella che le stazioni radio facevano sentire (le lunghe canzoni tagliavano la possibilita di pubblicita', dunque venivano spezzate in se stesse). Credo che fu pressapoco allo stesso tempo che ho avuto la possibilita' di sentire la canzone completa in una stazione FM e in un film (non ricordo piu' il titolo, era un film di poco successo, e la canzone si sentiva durante una forte tempesta/pioggia). Non sapevo nemmeno che esisteva la versione "lunga". Andavo anche pazzo per i "folk" songs di Bob Dylan, Donovan, Joan Baez.
Ma il heavy metal/rock non mi e' mai piaciuto.

Mostly they were home-grown, but in cinema many come from overseas (without America Sophia Loren would only be known in Italy, if at all. Non la conosco, ne la canzone ne la banda. Ma va bene. La voce e' tipica del heavy metal, e non ci vedo davvero niente di terribile.
Ma la canzone fa parte del film che si vede nel video clip? Che film e' (non riconosco gli attori- malgrado che la brutta qualita' non ti permette di fare una grande analisi del cast).
