Former porn actress leads AIDS fight in industry
Friday, April 23, 2004 Posted: 5:39 PM EDT (2139 GMT)

Former porn star Sharon Mitchell is now a clinical sexologist and director of the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Former porn star Sharon Mitchell lived a "Boogie Nights"-style life of fame and excess, turning out more than 1,000 movies with titles like "Jail Bait" and "Captain Lust and the Pirate Women."

Along the way, she acquired herpes, chlamydia and a 16-year heroin habit. She was also raped and beaten by a deranged fan in 1996.

A few years later, though, she would return to the industry in a much different role: unofficial chief health-care officer.

Mitchell, holder of a Ph.D. in human sexuality, co-founded the nonprofit Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation, which provides testing for sexually transmitted diseases along with drug and psychological counseling for porn actors.

"She is basically the Mother Teresa of porn," actor and producer Dave Pounder said.

It was the foundation's testing that determined last week that actors Darren James and Lara Roxx were infected with the AIDS virus. The discovery led to the voluntary quarantine of 53 people and prompted an estimated 80 percent of the porn industry to halt production until further testing gives the all-clear.

While Mitchell has her critics, many in the multibillion-dollar industry credit her with getting the industry to look seriously at the occupational hazard of AIDS.

"She's trying so hard to keep this ragtag bunch of hooligans together in this industry," said Suze Randall, a friend and adult film producer. "We're all rule-breakers and free spirits, and Sharon's got her work cut out keeping us all alive."

Mitchell, 46, said she is the only one providing comprehensive help to the nation's porno film industry, which is centered in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley.

"We let them know that HIV is an occupational hazard, not just a risk or a remote possibility," Mitchell said. "Nobody seems to hear it. Everybody is so into making money."

Raised in New Jersey, Mitchell said she grew up in a "wonderful and loving" family and took her first adult film role after off-Broadway acting jobs did not earn her much money. She said she had no qualms about getting into porn. Nobody had even heard of AIDS.

"What risk was there in 1975?" she said. "It was the sexual revolution. What was I going to get? Crabs?"

She had a long career as a performer, director and producer and gathered a shelf full of adult movie awards and a place in Hustler magazine's Hall of Fame. Acting in the movies was fun, she said.

Then, after performing at a Sunset Boulevard strip club, she was followed home by a fan and brutalized. The attack "did something to me," she said. She made a few more films but was soon "running for rehab and college as fast as I could."

As she was studying public health (she would later earn her doctorate from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco), the first big HIV scare hit the industry in 1998. Six performers were found to have the AIDS virus. Testing programs were spotty. People in the industry asked Mitchell to look into it.

"I started testing everyone," she said. "I had been out of porn for a good two years, maybe three. I did not want to come back for anything. But I thought, these are my friends."

The effort turned into a foundation with a $1.4 million annual budget, with most of the money coming from performers. Now, with nine full-time employees and a variety of other services, the clinic typically runs a $7,000 monthly deficit, Mitchell said.

Performers in most heterosexual porn flicks do not use condoms, for fear they will hurt sales. But many producers require actors to get tested for AIDS once a month. And Mitchell said the self-policing of the industry has worked.

After 80,000 tests, only 11 performers have been diagnosed with HIV since 1998, she said. Before the two recent cases, the last positive test was in 1999 and involved just one person.

Mitchell gets high marks from the health officials that she works closely with. But she rejects suggestions that the government regulate the porn industry by mandating condom use or enforcing safety rules on movie sets. Such regulation would only force the industry underground, she said.

Nevertheless, Peter Kerndt, director of Los Angeles County's sexually transmitted disease program, predicted the HIV scare might lead to a condom requirement.

"She genuinely cares about people that come into this industry and has done everything she possibly can to protect them, their health and to provide them with information they need," he said. "Obviously more needs to be done."

As for Mitchell's career, she said she never seriously considered returning to porn. "Nobody knows me as the ex-porn star. I'm a doctor. I wear a doctor's coat. I run a clinic. I'm very well-respected," she said.

Besides, she added, what kind of porn could a middle-aged woman do?

"It would have to be 'Granny Does Vegas,"' she said.

Rob Spallone Questions AIM
By: Scott Ross
04-23-2004

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - From the moment it was announced that Darren James had been diagnosed as HIV-positive, some elements of the adult industry began to question how the AIM Healthcare Foundation (AIM) handled the situation, renewing debate about the health clinic's general operational capabilities. Another frequent criticism during this time has been that AVN was too close to AIM to criticize the health clinic with any sense of objectivism, thereby complict in AIM's alleged failures.

No critic has been more vocal than producer Rob Spallone, a former talent manager who at various times was involved in testing clinics.

"AVN stands behind AIM, which, if they're gonna stand behind AIM and tell people, ‘Oh that's the clinic of the business,' then there's gonna be a problem," Spallone said.

"Because if McDonalds opens up, 90 percent of the time, there's a Burger King across the street. If I send you to a dentist and he works on your mouth and you don't like that dentist, you're gonna go to another dentist.

"There are companies out there that support AIM " and I'm not attacking just AIM and Sharon Mitchell " there are companies out there that support them and say, "We only accept tests from AIM." That's against the law, OK?"

Yet in June of 2003, it was prominent adult industry attorney Paul Cambria who suggested that it would be wise for everyone to only accept tests from AIM. "I am recommending that all companies who are shooting in the state of California stay with the exclusive testing from AIM Healthcare Foundation. AIM has the track record, and the written endorsement of the Department of Health of Los Angeles. AIM has also received support of the State Assembly and the Cal/OSHA," noted Cambria.

Spallone says that such a stance is illegal. Lawyers consulted by AVN.com confirmed that production companies are in fact free to choose exclusive health care providers for their talents needs and their records.

Spallone also brought up was the fact the AVN gives AIM free ads. Stating that he plans on opening up another clinic, to compete with AIM, Spallone wonders if AVN would donate adds to other clinics.

"If they are run correctly, meet the necessary standards and practices that have been established and are in fact 501(c)(3)[nonprofit], than yes, we would," Paul Fishbein, the president of AVN, said.

Fishbein refutes Spallone's position that AVN has a policy that calls for talent to only use AIM, but adds, "We support the work that Sharon has done. She's done great things for the business. Before her, the testing situation was a mess."

The source of the confusion is likely "Does Sex Kill", the cover story of August 2003 issue of AVN. The story was the summary of an investigation by AVN, after noticing that USA Referral Service, an upstart clinic, was using PCR-RNA tests rather than PCR-DNA tests.

PCR-RNA tests are meant for monitoring people with HIV, not for diagnostic purposes. Simply put, every one of the 200 people who tested at USA Referral Service was potentially working with HIV. Thankfully, none of them were.

USA Referral Service closed three-weeks after it opened, in no small part because of the investigation conducted by AVN.

It was during the time USA Referral Service was posing a health threat to the entire industry that LFP, Vivid, Wicked Pictures, VCA, Red Light District, Elegant Angel, Video Team, Anabolic, Platinum X, Lucky Star Productions, Tabitha Yang Management, and Jet Set Productions, the first gay production company to begin mandatory testing, declared that they would only accept test results from AIM.

Fishy Finances?

Then there is the claim that Mitchell is price gouging, raising the prices of testing to line her own pockets. Clients of AIM are charged $110 for a HIV PCR-DNA test, a chlamydia and a gonorrhea test. Mitchell stated that AIM was charged $70 for each test; Spallone claims that she is only charged $55, or maybe even $50 per test.

"When I had the clinic, I was charging $85 when I was involved with the clinic. Sharon had no choice but to charge $85. When I closed, she raised to $95. Then she raised to $100. Now she raised the cost to $110," Spallone said.

AVN.com called the clinic used by AIM to discover what their costs actually are. A PCR-DNA test that would cost an individual patient $225, or a doctor $220, costs AIM just $45; ten dollars lower than Spallone's guess. The discrepancy between the cost of the HIV test and Mitchell's statement that the test cost $70 can be explained very simply - Mitchell is including the cost of chlamydia and gonorrhea tests, which became mandatory last year.

Today the clinic verified that AIM pays $11 each for a gonorrhea and chlamydia test, bringing the total costs of testing up to $67.

Spallone had been under the impression that the chlamydia and gonorrhea tests were being covered the county.

"The clinic I was involved with, the doctors, they got these other two tests, for free, from the government. They're free tests. The one for the gonorrhea and all that other shit. Sharon finally got the same deal to get those tests," Spallone said. "She raised the price. You know what she told this whole industry? The reason she raised the price? She's doing two other tests. Those tests are free. You show me where she pays for that test."

In fact, AIM took advantage of the free testing that Spallone spoke of until last summer when a sharp rise in the number of STD cases caused AIM to look for a faster method of testing. The county tests took over a week to get back, whereas the current tests take only a day or two.

At 900 patients a month, that means testing generates $99,000 a month, of which they pay the lab $60,300. The remaining $38,000 goes to cover operation expenses such as $20,000 a month in salaries for the staff of nurses, phlebotomists, doctors and others - including Sharon Mitchell's salary (Mitchell takes home approximately $1650 per paycheck bi-monthly).

That leaves $18,000 a month, the bulk of which goes to fixed costs for things such as rent, the operational expenses also includes training for staff and various insurance policies that the clinic is required by law to take, some of which must be paid on quarterly, bi-annual or annual schedules.

AIM, as a non-profit organization, must file publicly available records of their finances. As previously reported by AVN, an examination of AIM's form 990, the non-profit equivalent of a 1040 form, shows that the health clinic isn't exactly Microsoft.

AIM's 990 in 2001, the most recent year filed at Guidestar, a non-profit monitoring service, shows that AIM was actually nearly $60,000 in debt at the end of 2001.

AIM raised $77,468 in contributions and $458,736 in fees for a total revenue of $536,204. The bulk of the revenue, $477,892, went to operational expenses. Throw in training costs and unexpected equipment costs and at the end of the year, AIM had $494 dollars in assets and $70,440 in liabilities. AIM finished the year with a debt burden of $57,818.

The clinic that AIM uses was described as "top of the line" by Dr. Peter Kerdnt, the head of the STD program for LA County Health Department. Kerdnt also confirmed that ELISA testing, which has been suggested to be a preferable testing method, would "be a major step backwards."

Darren James - When Did Mitchell Know and Why Didn't We Know When She Did.

On April 9, Darren James went to AIM for his HIV test. For the last seven years James had went to AIM every three weeks, retesting one week earlier than required most of the time.

Contrary to what some have speculated, Mitchell didn't know that James was positive on Saturday; the lab held the test up. AIM wouldn't issue an alert to talent just because test results had been held at the lab - it happens approximately thirty times a week according to Mitchell. The clinic agreed that was the case.

In other words, the HIV test results had not been returned to AIM until Monday morning, April 12.

On Monday morning Mitchell drew a second and a third testing sample. She didn't issue an alert at that point, waiting for a confirmation before issuing an alert.

"If I would have sent out an alert at that point, the production companies would have killed me if it had turned out to be a false positive," Mitchell said.

Spallone says he believes, "1000 percent that she should have let everyone know on Monday. We lose a day, we lose a day."

The results of the first confirmation test arrived Tuesday afternoon. AIM's written protocol, which has been approved of by medical doctors, calls for two confirmations before announcing that there is a HIV-positive patient. Given the unique nature of the adult community, Mitchell decided to jump the gun and announce that James was HIV-positive after just one confirmation.

Kerdnt confirmed that there is a written protocol that AIM follows and said that he wouldn't second-guess her decision.

As for tracking, the first- and second- generation has been difficult, Spallone wonders why there wasn't a database of every performer's professional sexual history on hand via a third party database.

Spallone himself suggests that the database should be third party, meaning not AIM's responsibility.

"Duh. That would be great, but we don't have the cash for that," Mitchell said. "Who's going to pay for that?"

Customer Service

Spallone's last major gripe with Mitchell is that she offers what he refers to as poor customer service. He tells of a female performer that he knows that was given the wrong test results by AIM.

"She didn't look at it. Not that she's stupid, she got handed her test. If there was something wrong with it, they would have told her," Spallone said. "She got in her car, and she went to set. And they said, ‘Your two IDs and your test.' The test was some guy's test. They gave her the wrong one."

Mitchell agreed that a mistake had been made, but suggests that accidents such as that do happen in any clinic from time to time. "It's your HIV and STD test we're talking about here and it's effectively your permit to work so it's always a good idea to double check. It's unfortunate, but accidents do happen."

Spallone also complained about 16 clients of Jim South's World Modeling agency whose tests were lost by AIM three weeks ago. "AIM told them. ‘We lost your test; we've got to re-do them.' How do you loose somebody's blood, OK? "

According to Mitchell, the 16 "lost tests" were in reality 16 lost clients - none of the performers indicated that Jim South should be sent their test results.

AVN.com attempted to call Jim South at his office to get his take on the story, but no one answered the phone.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - More speakers have been added to the rostrum of the industry-wide talent and producers meeting regarding the HIV crisis on Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., at Hustler Studios.

The purpose of the forum, which will be chaired by AVN publisher Tim Connelly and producer Suze Randall, is to discuss the state of current health crisis and throw out ideas about future safeguards and protocols.

Among those scheduled to speak are AIM Healthcare director Sharon Mitchell, actor-directors Jewel De'Nyle and Vince Vouyer, Video Team CEO Christian Mann, Anabolic owner Christopher Alexander, and attorney Allan Gelbard. Actor-director Mr. Marcus has been invited to make a special presentation from the talent's perspective.

After each person has spoken briefly, the forum will be thrown open to questions and general discussion.

The meeting is open to all industry members, but no press or media representatives, adult or otherwise, will be admitted. "We would appreciate the press not writing about this," said Connelly, "as we hope this would be a private meeting where producers and talent can speak freely. As a former performer, the welfare of the talent is a priority."

The event will be catered, and RSVPs are required so the organizers know how much food to order.

Hustler Studios is located at 20932 Osborne St., half a block west of De Soto and one block south of Nordhoff, in Chatsworth.[/size:1ab9207b89]

Viral Load Results Indicate James was 'Patient Zero'
By: Scott Ross
04-26-2004

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. - The viral load tests for Darren James and Lara Roxx, the two adult performers that were recently diagnosed as HIV-positive, indicate that James is "patient zero" of the current outbreak.

Viral loads indicate the amount of the virus per 1ml of blood. HIV-positive patients regularly check their viral load to monitor the virus' progression. The general rule of thumb is the lower the viral count, the better.

The viral load can also indicate which person transmitted the virus to the other.

Darren James had a viral load count of 121,000, while Lara Roxx has a viral load count of 605,000. According to Sharon Mitchell, PhD, executive director of the AIM Healthcare Foundation, those results point to James as "patient zero," the person who brought the virus into the adult community for this isolated outbreak.

"Roxx's was higher, but that means it's more recent because we know it surges in the first 18 to 30 days," Mitchell said.

James' test results showed that his viral load was on the way down, indicating he had the virus for a longer period of time.

James' is believed to have been exposed to the HIV-virus while working in Brazil last month. It is not yet known how James acquired the virus[/size:1ab9207b89]

Brazil Shakes Over HIV Scare: Report
By: Charles Farrar
04-28-2004

SAO PAULO - Brazil may be a popular place for American adult filmmakers to shoot and work - especially given its own vibrant adult film and entertainment industry - but the HIV scare which has rocked the adult industry this month has shaken Brazilian performers enough to criticize their American counterparts for relying on testing over condom use, according to a published report.

"America's adult film industry relies on testing to prevent the spread of the virus," wrote Independent Online. "But testing is scoffed at in Brazil as expensive and unreliable. The Brazilian porn industry, Latin America's largest, has long depended on condoms to prevent actors from getting and spreading HIV."

So far as Brazilian Erotic Industry Association chief Evaldo Shiroma is concerned, American adult star Darren James "took a risk that many Brazilian actors won't."

James and actress Lara Roxx, with whom he worked after returning from Brazil where he's believed to have contracted HIV, tested positive for the virus earlier this month, sending a shock throughout the adult entertainment industry and bringing no small level of heat upon it. James had also performed with thirteen actresses after his return to the U.S. but before blood tests confirmed he was HIV-positive.

The test results provoked the American adult industry to bar over fifty performers who had contact with either James or Roxx, pending new test results on the fifty. The James-Roxx results also prodded at least thirty adult entertainment companies to impose a moratorium on production - and various proposals for legislation to impose tighter safety compliance regulations on the industry.

First Amendment attorney Lawrence G. Walters said the news of the HIV scare was just the kind adult's detractors could use effectively enough to push for closing down adult production longer term. "This comes at a difficult time," Walters told AVN, "as we're on the verge of a massive obscenity crackdown, and our enemies are searching for additional reasons to justify this potentially controversial action."

"While roughly 80 percent of Brazilian porn films are made with actors using condoms, about the same percentage of American movies feature actors not wearing them," Independent Online said. "Brazilian industry executives say most Americans who film in Brazil require their actors to film unprotected sex scenes."

Independent Online said Brazil's adult industry is believed the second largest in the world behind the United States, with "dozens of porn production companies" working in Sao Paulo alone, with product "so widely accepted that videos and DVDs are showcased on corner newsstands."

"It's become the place to go," said AVN publisher Tim Connelly to Independent Online. "What drives it is economics and beautiful women."

The problem is that Brazil may have the most people in the Western Hemisphere with the HIV virus or with full-blown AIDS behind the U.S. Independent Online said they normally go to Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, which are believed - according to the World Bank - to have over 60 percent of the country's estimated 540,000 with HIV or AIDS making their homes there.

"Though the Brazilian porn film industry is unregulated, most production companies honor a gentleman's agreement requiring actors to use condoms," Independent Online said. "Actors could not afford regular HIV tests that cost $140 (about R940) each, and producers feared being sued by actors getting the virus while working."

Buttman Brasil marketing director Norberto Brunni told Independent Online condoms are far more preferred over regular testing. "We use the best condoms in the world," he said, "and that's the safety of my business."

If some believe condoms are somewhat "impure" when it comes to making adult films and videos in the U.S., Brazilians don't necessarily see it that way. "Brazilians are more accepting of erotic films with actors using condoms," Independent Online said, "because the government's internationally renowned HIV prevention program has handed out millions of free condoms annually for years and bombarded the country with advertisements encouraging their use, particularly during Rio's world famous Carnival."

In fact, the publication continued, Sao Paulo's eighth annual Erotkia Fair included Brazilian porn performers saying American directors "often bring in their own male talent but usually hire Brazilian actresses who often moonlight as prostitutes and are willing to have sex without condoms."

Brazilian actresses like Lana Starck think U.S. performers' reputed preference for testing over condoms is "absurd. They should learn from us," she told Independent Online, "because the HIV test doesn't mean anything. I use condoms with actors and with my husband, always."

And renowned American adult photographer Suze Randall told Independent Online the Brazilian model should be adopted more widely to help guarantee American adult's safety and survival. "We thought we were being smart with testing, but we were naive," she said. "No one wants to work with condoms, but that will probably be the way to go. The marketplace is going to take what we give them."

Jessica Dee Identified as Third HIV-Positive Performer
By: Scott Ross
04-29-2004

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Jessica Dee's agent has confirmed that the Czech performer is the third victim of the current HIV outbreak. Dee worked with Darren James, the veteran performer believed to have originated the outbreak, on March 24, the same day that James worked with Lara Roxx, the first woman to test positive in the current outbreak.

AIM Healthcare Foundation (AIM) declined to identify Dee when they announced earlier today that they another performer had tested positive for HIV, citing legalities of disclosing such information.

However, Dee and those close to her knew yesterday that she had tested positive, and once AIM confirmed the results today, word quickly spread as to who the new HIV-positive performer was.

Dick Nasty, Dee's agent, told AVN.com that Dee was "in hysterics," and was expected to return to the Czech Republic in the near future.

"What can you say, it's such a shame. We all knew it was possible and so did she, but that doesn't make it any easier," Nasty said.

Dee, 26-years-old and a 5-year veteran of the adult industry, had worked with only five men during the time between her scene with James and when her quarantine began.

Her first-generation list, with the date she worked with each performer in parentheses following each name, includes: Sean Michaels (4/07), Julian St. Jox (4/07), Mark Last (4/10), Brock (4/10), and Carlos Mendes (4/12).

Un'altra attrice trovata sieropositiva dopo un rapporto don darren:

da repubblica.it:

Paura Aids sui set porno

Rodney Moore: 'No More Anal Creampies'
By: AVN Editorial
04-30-2004

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - [Ed. Note: The following letter was written by adult director Rodney Moore. By publishing this letter unedited, AVN.com does not necessarily endorse or substantiate any of the beliefs expressed by Moore. For people reading this that are not familiar with the adult industry, a "creampie" is an internal ejaculation.]

I'm very surprised that with all the comments about the current HIV crisis in the adult industry that no one has yet stated what appears to be obvious to me.

The cause of all of these problems is the "anal creampie" shot. Let's look at the facts. The number one means of sexual transmission is infected semen in the anus. HIV is hard to get. It needs a direct pathway into the bloodstream. There is no more direct path than an infected male cumming into the anus of another person, especially after said anus has been roughly pounded for 20-30 minutes, an activity for which it was not intended. My opinion is that female to maletransmission is rare.

Let's look at more facts. I've been through several of these unfortunate scares in my twelve years in the business. Someone has to bring the virus in from the outside. When the scare involved a female such as Barbara Doll or Nena Cherry, no one else was infected. And we didn't have the quick quarantine measures in place like we do now.

On the other hand, five years ago when Mark Wallice was "patient zero," he infected several women. None of the women who became infected gave it to anyone else. I know for a fact he infected Brooke Ashley by cumming into her ass after an anal gangbang. I don¹t know for a fact how the other girls got it from him, but I would suspect it was from anal creampies.

At that time five years ago, I had unprotected anal sex with Brooke Ashley the day before she tested positive! This was when she was at her most infectious stage, and I did not get it. I worried plenty, I placed myself under quarantine for a long time, but I did not get it. Maybe I was just lucky. Or maybe that's not an easy way of transmission. I believe the latter.

I don't want to get in the middle of the debate as to who gave it to who between Lara Rox and Darren James. But sadly, there is no doubt that Darren James gave it to Jessica. Lara did not give it to Jessica.

They did not have sex. In either case, at least one of the girls got it from an anal creampie.

I don¹t know if he wants it still public, but there's a well known adult company owner and former performer who by his own admission got it from semen in his butt from an infected transsexual prostitute.

So I'm back to the original point. The cause of all this unfortunate misery and grief in the industry is the anal creampie shot. What's especially sad is that it is the easiest thing in the world to fake.

You put a little of your favorite imitation semen mixture in the butt, the guy goes back in and fakes an orgasm, pulls out, and out comes what looks to be semen. Why then are some directors compelled to film this highly dangerous activity?

In my opinion, the most realistic solution to the preventing future Outbreaks of HIV in the industry is to BAN THE ANAL CREAMPIE.

We don¹t need condoms. Besides, a guy can wear three condoms and it doesn't accomplish anything if the director than tells him to whip them off and shoot his load into the girl¹s butt! It doesn¹t accomplish anything if the condom breaks inside and cum enters the butt anyway.

Especially if people stop testing and rely solely on condoms, which is what will happen. It's about Anal Creampies.

We don't need talent trade unions. They may be a good idea for other reasons, but with so many female performers dropping in and out of the business on a daily basis and people shooting all over the world, it's just not possible to involve everyone who works as talent. What purpose will it serve if at best you can only involve a small portion of the talent pool. And even if you could involve everyone, it¹s not going to stop HIV transmission. It¹s about Anal Creampies.

We don¹t need to quarantine performers who do scenes out of the country. Why is a guy who works with a tested actress in Brazil more dangerous than a guy who stays in America but fucks some untested girl he picks up in a bar in LA? And a bi-curious male performer can just as easily take it up the butt in West Hollywood as he can in the Czech

Republic or Brazil. I am not implying anything about anyone here so don't think that I am, I¹m just making a point. It¹s about Anal Creampies.

We certainly don¹t need directors with self-serving agendas strutting around saying they care so much about the talent that they¹re going condom only and insulting other directors by implicitly implying that if other directors don¹t, then they don¹t care as much. It¹s about Anal Creampies.

We don't need OSHA to come in and make condoms mandatory and drive the business underground or out of state, where testing will be abandoned and filmed sex will become even more riskier. It¹s about Anal Creampies.

If OSHA feels compelled now to do something, then they should BAN ANAL CREAMPIE SHOTS!

If the industry as a whole feels the need to do something, we should BAN ANAL CREAMPIE SHOTS!

I'm not blaming any directors who in the past have shot anal creampies.Even those who have touted in their promos that their girls are so stupid they'll do such risky activity just for a buck.

But I truly believe that from this point on, any company or director that shoots an anal creampie should be condemned for not just putting the girl at risk, but the entire industry. Any girl that agrees to do an anal creampie shot in the future is either uninformed or just fucking stupid.

I believe Sharon Mitchell should take down that bullshit "No Soliciting" sign at AIM that a certain well know talent agent made her put up and replace it with a huge sign that says: DO NOT DO ANAL CREAMPIES!

It's tragic that the reckless quest to get an edge on the competition has put our industry in jeopardy and caused so much grief and pain.

Again, I'm not blaming anyone. But surely now we all know better. Let's see if we have learned. I sympathize not only with the three people who are infected but also the others on the list who are so scared waiting for the final outcome of their tests.

One final thing. At the risk of sounding self-serving myself, I would estimate that in the history of the adult video industry, well over 100,000 facial cumshots have been filmed. I know of not one single case of HIV transmission resulting from a facial cumshot.

We all know that of the hundreds of Bukkakes that have been shot in the last few years by several different directors, there have been times when untested actors have been used. And yet, not one of the girls doing

Bukkake has ever come up positive. I'm not defending Bukkake. It's personally not my thing. I am defending the facial cumshot.

I repeat no one in this industry has ever come up HIV positive from a facial cumshot. Is this self serving? Do I have an agenda? Yes, since I make my living on facial cumshots. But if I made my living shooting anal creampies, the last anal creampie I shot would be the last anal creampie I ever shot.

I sincerely hope everyone else will say the same.[/size:60c17f417d]

Sources inform AVN.com that Bianca Biaggi has been identified as the Brazilian native that Darren James is believed to have caught the HIV virus from. The same sources report that Biaggi is currently being sought so that she may be tested for HIV. It is not yet clear how she has been determined to be the person who may have infected James.

James is believed to have caught the virus while shooting in Brazil, around March 10.
